Last night we had a very simple investigation planned as without having my car operable right now we had to head out on foot lol. It was like the old days when I first moved here. But we had a nice thriller investigation as we investigated Chandler Place which would turn out to be quite a nice little adventure. Jason and I left fairly late we stopped at the store so I could grab a giant chocolate milk yum. This place was interesting we were going to check out cause it happened to be the first abandoned location I seen when I moved here a year ago. I remember when I first moved here how I talked about wanting to check it out just never got around to it till now and so our investigation begins here.

Chandler Place

The first place we entered was towards the back. We thought at first it was a garage as we seen a few old bicycles, tired, and mowers. This area was very dark and gloomy. I noticed that it only had one small little window unlike the rest of the structure.

We seen a little laundry room, bedroom, living room and small kitchen area. It was obvious this was a small little apartment. We could not help noticing belongings left behind. Its possibly that the place was being condemned and once that happens the entire place must be abandoned. I believe that something like this occurred here.

There was not a lot of activity back here but I could sense perhaps a gloomy feeling. We were worried that a vagrant might be hiding back here as their was a sign that somebody made a bed. I took my photos then we went back outside.

We then went upstairs and were trying to investigate the second floor when some lady stared at us from out her back door.  At the sametime I heard a lot of movement coming from within the upstairs apartment on the other side of the door. I knew we were not a lot that something beyond the door was lurking or knew we were coming for it. The lady could not quite see us but she was staring for 10 minutes real hard. What the hell is with the nosy over paranoid southern ignoramuses? They just have nothing better to do around here.  We slowly went back downstairs off the balcony and focus on the front area downstairs.

We decided to check out the downstairs. We went into the front which took us into a living room area. Their was an Orlando Magic poster hanging up. It was obvious this place suffered from a lot of damage. The kitchen still had glasses and plates around. The shower curtain was ripped then their was a room with just the bedsprings remaining.

A lot of the furniture was remaining and their was this one area which looked like a storage closet where we seen a chair. I sat in it and Jason took my photo. It felt like an interrogation room lol. The downstairs front area was very dark lots of wood paneling and the couple windows available were also boarded.  Their was a couple TVs laying around.

Jason and I separated only to meet on opposite ends of a hallway. The place was not very large their were a couple rooms. I did not notice a lot of activity although it was a little cooler in here then it was the back apartment.

Eventually we went back upstairs to follow up on the sounds we heard. The lady was no longer staring and her back door was closed. Their was a mattress on the upper balcony it was apparent that people have used this place to sleep at. Still the door knob was broke so Jason carefully climbed onto the railing of the balcony and at an angle managed to swing himself over to a roof to the left. What an adrenaline rush that had to be for him now that's going out on the limb for the group lol. He then let me in but he was lucky cause he got to see the upstairs before me. As soon as I entered he was exploring.

The upstairs happened to be my favorite it was set up different then the downstairs. It was set up as if something was living here. The stereo was nicely on the shelf, dishes were nicely stacked in the kitchen, the couches were set up in the living room, etc., etc. Their was many windows upstairs so light from the road peered inside here.

Their was some very old chairs inside upstairs. You could tell not many people have been in here for awhile. If I was younger Id be using this place as a club house cause that is what this type of place reminded me off. The upstairs was in the best condition. Their were bars blocking the second floor double doors which had no balcony at all.

The upstairs had a couple bedrooms they were empty but we explored everything. The bathroom had some shirt or something on the ground. Jason find out a book shelf and I climbed it to the attic. I took a couple photos in the attic then the shelf started to make cracking sounds luckily it did not break or I'd took a nice fall.

We then exited and went downstairs to the apartment with the lawn mowers and bikes. We just wanted to do one last sweep around the place. I took some photos of the perimeter and we left at ease. What an odd place this turned out to be.

In conclusion to last night I would not say their is a lot of activity here. I would say what is here perhaps lay dormant for a very long time and perhaps when we arrived it stirred it up a little bit. At times I felt watched like once when I was looking at the stand up shower in the back apartment and when we were upstairs where I heard very heavy movement. The lower apartment in the front also had some mild energy in their but it was very low.

The whole place seems eerie I mean you will see dishes stacked, glasses near the sink, televisions in front of couches, stoves, fridges, even beds. It is like a place perhaps where the unseen can live in peace and harmony as its obvious nobody has been inside this place in a very long time except PGS bringing you another great haunting story. Peace
Rick
