The Cassadaga ghost complex is a very large building on a hill  that has a series of apartments inside. I believe it has been abandoned since 1970 so for over 30 years the only thing that has inhibited this place are its ghost. Based on the evidence we found it is haunted by a family and also a little girl and boy who are not afraid to make themselves known.

Very easily anybody could mistaken this place as a schoolhouse and that is what I thought it was for over a  year now and it turns out that it was a place where people once spent out their days living. As you approach this place it becomes very overwhelming as it sits on a hill many large trees and woods surround it. The building is very deceiving in its size the oldest part is the brick building you see in the photos of the front. Then in the back is an extension or newer area that is sided with more modern architecture. The old fire escapes gave it a certain feel but you knew with this place close to one of these most mysterious places in Western NY that their had to be something lurking its dark halls at n ight.

Their are roughly 16 apartments inside strangely enough most of them everything still remains behind old stoves, furniture, lamps, paintings even a room that has a freshly made bed, with chairs, a dresser and end table. I will not lie the place is out right creepy and as soon as you enter you know you are not alone you know something of the unseen is living here. They knew as soon as we entered so the place is very haunted probably more so then most places we have visited.

At this point we do not know how to take the Hauntings that occurred here we felt like the unwelcome visitors and it is the type of place where each corner you turn you hear something then snap a quick photo and catch something on film. But we could take it 2 different ways that is what makes the paranormal so interesting. Is what lives here just trying to scare us out perhaps they were worried we might steal something or abuse the place? or perhaps because the place has been abandoned for so long that they enjoyed our company so much that they were trying to be playful. We had so much activity happen here in just a short time no matter what floor we went where we went THEY followed us everywhere.

But one thing that will always remain is that this is no longer the Cassadaga Apartments but rather the Cassadaga Ghost Complex a place for ghost to rest in peace and just watch out the window as the cars pass by, the children play and investigators like us who dare to venture inside just to capture there existence on film. What happened in these apartments something sinister? Where did the tenants go? The owner? Why is their so many antiques left behind? Perhaps only the restless know this answer.
