As you know each Halloween of every year we try to do a series of special investigations. It has been a quiet month for the paranormal for us but I would say I made the whole month of October up in one night as we visited Boggy Creek Cemetery, Rose Hill Cemetery, Osceola Memory Gardens, The Hell House, Dead Man's Oak, Shingle Creek Grapefruit Plantation, Babb Ranch, The Prince House & Shingle Creek Cemetery.  So we definitely got a nights worth of Halloween adventure.

For Boggy Creek Cemetery it was an honor to have Elaine an Editor for the Orlando Sentinel and her lady friend come out with us. Which I will go into more in our report on that cemetery. Basically all in one night we brought to you a mix of investigations. We seen spiders, bats, heard screams, eerie woods, spooky cemeteries, and the highlight of the Night was the journey set out to find Dead Man's Oak.

It was a hard night for me as I had a recent knee injury so hiking for miles with a brace was not an easy task. Not even sure how I will hold up when I venture up to NY & PA later this week but I did manage to survive the night. I did promise my members something special would happen around Halloween and as you can see it does not get any better then this!

It was a night of nonstop adventure it may have been our best work in months. When you take consideration into the research, hiking, exploring, risk, dangerous animals, driving etc you look back and think wow we did all this. The only thing I hoped for is more people would have came out cause some of these places are one time deals which means if you snooze you lose.

Black cats and strange howls were not the only thing roaming out there in the woods. There were creatures, shrills, and the unseen lurking around every corner. With that in mind we now bring to you one very terrifying journey wishing our members a very safe happy Halloween!

Boggy Creek Cemetery

We met up with Elaine and her friend near the cemetery. They were both very sweet and considerate to come all the way out in a dark place to talk with me and take the time to listen to some of my theories. I know its not easy for anybody to just go on out and do this for a first time. For me its a way of life but for others it can be quite uncomfortable.

I do however am very happy with the Orlando Sentinel cause Elaine is the third editor I have met from them and they definitely appreciate the work we do. So I thought I would at least add this in cause this is a way for us to get ourselves out there so others can learn about who we are.

We started taking our time at the entrance and I noticed right away the grass was very high and their was no graves for the first few hundred feet. The cemetery was very pleasant it did not have a threatening presence it was more welcoming.

I tried to take us to the back left side since the graves looked older. Most of the investigation we did a lot of talking which is good. It tends to draw in a lot of attention from the unseen especially when your talking about the paranormal. There was an area back here that was much cooler you could feel it.

We walked around for awhile more and I came to an open area which looked like there was some unmarked burials. The ground was patchy and had little growth. That is when I got an ectoplasmic shot. It had some form to it and I caught it off near some brush so we were not alone. After that it was smooth sailing the only thing that bothered me here was the low giant planes flying overhead constantly.

Then we ended up walking through a cactus bed not fun we all had cactus stuck to our pants and shoes. Hence why I stress how important it is to wear the right attire cause here in FL you got sand spurs, cactuses, etc

We walked back to the older area again and I felt a presence in an area full of many gravestones close together. I explained to Elaine how it works with me. For me this is something that comes very natural you do it long enough and you get good at it. I also heard a noise near the fence unsure what it was.

We did exit the cemetery a little after and my photo was taken out front which will be appearing in the paper on Halloween. I did invite Elaine and her friend to other places that night but I think she seen enough after my first ecto photo lol. She told me she prefers to leave it alone and not mess with it guess me telling her about how the boogie man visits me at times kind of deterred her view on future investigations for the evening.

But we had a nice time and I was able to in fact share my knowledge with someone who listened and can put it into an article for everybody to enjoy. After the investigation we parted ways and then things would really get heated up as we had 8 more places to visit for the night our next place being Rose Hill Cemetery.
