The Adelle House is a wonderful piece of history
that has been abandoned for a couple years. We have to assume it was
abandoned due to its unsafe conditions. But the entire houses age shows as
it has a fireplace, old lamps, wood floors, giant bay windows, and old oak
doors.
The house sitting forgotten in the high brush appears to be going through a recent make over. The whole feeling you get while near the home is that at one time or another a murder took place. That is at least my psychic reading of the place and that there is more then one spirit that haunts the property. While walking around I was astounded by its size there had to be at least 4 large bedroom, 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, attic etc its a very large home and one of the first in Deland. If you were to walk around the home you would find dust covered furniture, blood on the floors, a bloody bandana, and mattresses. At one time it was used by vagrants and based on one of the broken windows it is apparent or possible someone cut themselves in the process. But we cannot say. All in all its a pretty eerie home that sits on the hill with a past. © By Rick-LordOfThyNight
